Rissons at Springdale is a small family run 3 Star 'restaurant with rooms' situated in the quiet village of Strathaven, offering understated elegance with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and the flexibility to accommodate your every requirement.  Rissons is an ideal choice whether you are looking for a meal within the restaurant or simply to relax in the conservatory with the coffee of your choice or if you prefer a longer stay including dinner then why not stay over.

The bedrooms are tastefully furnished and are well equipped with television, electric shaver point and gas central heating.  All rooms have en-suite facilities and tolietries are provided by Arran Aromatics.  You will also be able to relax in the comfortable lounge.  A disabled room is available and children are welcome.  Cots are available at an extra charge.

Rissons is a popular choice for food lovers locally, offering the very best of Scottish cuisine at affordable prices in the award winning restaurant which is the focal point of the business winning many awards since 2002.  Scott has experience of working with establishments such as Turnberry Hotel, Braeval Old Mill and Mitchell's Restaurant.

Cooking demonstrations are held on Tuesday for groups of around six.
