Nearby are routes for mountain biking, cycling and walking in the South Lanarkshire hills, as well as quick road access to Edinburgh and Glasgow. Nearby attractions are the beautiful royal burgh of Lanark as well as the UNESCO World Heritage site at New Lanark with its spectacularly preserved 18th century village.
Facilities at The New Farmhouse
The New Farmhouse itself provides a cosy haven if the weather deters you form venturing out. The living room includes a wood burning stove, with coal and wood supplied. The New Farmhouse also has a selection of CD's, DVD's, books and games to choose from. The utility room houses the lodge's washer/drier, coat hooks etc, with plenty of space for muddy boots. The dining room and kitchen are open plan with double oven, microwave, fridge-freezer. There are three bedrooms, two of which are twins and a master king-size double bedroom with spectacular views and ensuite.
