Kids will love Lanarkshire’s attractions there’s so many fun things for childrens days out….
Why not spend the day at Strathclyde Country Park home to Scotland’s Theme Park – M&Ds and Amazonia. The park has miles of beautiful walks, a water sports centre where you can try out pedalos, bumper boats, boat trips, wave bobs and Canadian canoes. You can even hire bikes and cycle round the loch stopping at some of the play parks or the sandy loch side beach.
There are so many options for children's days out, you could take a trip along the Clyde Valley stopping at Chatelherault Country Park with its great play areas and beautiful woodland walks, you’ll love the visitor centre. Back on the road you could stop off at Valley International Park for a ride on the mini railway. The kids will love New Lanark they can even take a step back in time on the Annie McLeod experience or take a walk up to the Falls of Clyde a discover Lanarkshire’s natural beauty.
Kids just love the Time Capsule, Coatbridge its bursting with fun. If you can get them to leave, why not pop over to Summerlee – The Museum of Scottish Industrial Life. You can take a ride on the electric tramway and even experience life as a miner in the recreated mine and miners’ cottages. There’s lots to see and do.
