Lanarkshire's new state of the art sports & leisure facility will host the Badminton and Judo events during the 2011 International Children's Games.
Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility completed in 2010 is one of Scotland's flagship sports venues. With state of the art sports and leisure facilities, gyms, athletics hall, indoor and outdoor football arenas, and nine badminton courts, Ravenscraig Sports facility in Motherwell is a spectacular venue for the International Children's Games.
Ravenscraig is within easy reach of all other Games venues and accommodation. Its central location also provides easy access to Lanarkshire's other facilities and attractions.
From July 2011 a new bus servioce will operate between Ravenscraig and the surrounding area including, Motherwell, and Newarthill Colness and Holytown. For routes and timetables please check the Ravenscraig website.
