Beautiful Plant Displays, Viewpark Gardens
Viewpark Gardens is a horticultural centre in Uddingston that incorporates several types of gardens and glasshouse displays. Japanese and Highland plant displays are featured and visitors can view collections such as conifers, heathers, Acers and Azaleas.
Recent projects include the renewal of footpaths, a new topiary collection for enthusiasts, and additional plant collections – miniature conifer, hebes, hardy ferns are only a few examples.
The Demonstration gardens and the "Sustainable Garden", are ideal to give visitors ideas about the design and planting suitable to the average house and garden.
One of the more striking attractions is the 'Black and White' garden.

Other attractions include various water features - channels, ponds and miniature waterfalls that attract several types of wildlife including butterflies, dragonflies and a variety of birds.
For the indoor plant enthusiast there are 4 glasshouses. These offer extensive tropical, subtropical, cacti and also succulent plants. These houses also contain various water features and cold-water fish. Children can enjoy the modern play area.
The gardens offer an ideal setting for wedding photographs and you can also purchase bouquets, floral arrangements, troughs and containers.
