Biggar Museum Trust- Scotland's Finest Small Musuems
Biggar Museum Trust oversees six of the finest small museums in Scotland, covering several centuries of Scottish history. Included in these are: Moat Park Heritage Centre, Gladstone Court, Brownsbank Cottage, Greenhill Covenanters House and Biggar Gasworks.
The John Buchan Centre and the Lamington Chapel,which is also owned by the trust, is available by appointment for special events and services.
All of the sites are available to visit, you can stroll along the 'real' Victorian streets and visit the shops at Gladstone Court, observe live bees in a working hive at Moat Park and experience the sounds and smells of Scotland's only remaining 19th Century gas works.
