Why not visit some of Lanarkshire's fascinating Museums and Galleries.  There are a  diverse range of themes from learning about rural life at the National Museum of Country Life in East Kilbride to  finding out about the history of Cumbernauld, from Roman times to present day at the Cumbernauld Museum (based in Cumbernauld Library).  There is guartanteed to be something for every inquisitive mind out there.
