Bird Watching and Walking in Lanarkshire

Gartcosh Nature reserve is located in the outskirts of Gartcosh, near Gartcosh Industrial Park.

The Reserve boasts the rare Great Crested Newt, but there are many other fascinating creatures to be found here, and the Nature Reserve is a popular trip for birdwatchers, walkers and families alike.

The Nature Reserve has been re-developed, in order to safeguard the site's amphibious wildlife.
