Hand Made Scottish Art and Crafts in South Lanarkshire
The Scottish Art, Craft and Design Centre (SACDC) celebrates Scotland’s undiscovered artistic talent.
Situated in Valley International Park in Crossford, the SACDC showcases the work of small artists and crafters from around Scotland, who offer high standard, unique hand made pieces at affordable prices.
Offerings at the SACDC include quality handcrafted beadwork and jewellery, organic soaps, hand made chocolate and the fantastic work of Lanark and French based artist James Somerville Lindsay.
The SACDC is the perfect place to enjoy Scotland’s creativity in the beautiful surroundings of the Clyde Valley.
The Penny Paper Chain Mile for Maggie's Centres
On the run up to Christmas, the SACDC will be inviting visitors to create a link in a paper chain that will eventually be 1 mile long, or even longer!
Every link costs a minimum of 1p and by Christmas Eve the roof of the centre will be covered in colourful paper chain links, hopefully raising thousands of pounds for a fantastic cause, Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centres.
In keeping with the ethos of the SACDC, the Penny Paper Chain will be hand made and made in Scotland.
