Through the Keyhole - A glimpse into North Lanarkshire's homes through the ages

From crannogs to weavers' cottages and from mansions to tenements, North Lanarkshire's homes have a diverse and fascinating history. Step 'through the keyhole' and discover Lanarkshire at home!  This exhibition has re-created a child's bedroom from the 1940s and a late 60s sitting room in the style of a new house in Cumbernauld, as well as having a fascinating display of archive photographs and artefacts.  'Hands on' activity area too.

Look out for details on our fabby Easter event - it's themed around the late 60s and early 70s and there will be lots of activities for all the family !  Watch VisitLanarkshire's events page for full info - it'll be coming up shortly...

Open 10am to 5pm (4pm to end March).  Admission is free.
