Beneath the Grass, Wilsontown Ironworks.
Back due to popular demand, the Walking Theatre Company will be performing their amusing play at this important industrial heritage site. Over 200 years ago this was the very first Ironworks in the whole of Lanarkshire. Come along for this fun, family walk to find out how the Wilsons' business is doing, meet the landlady of Wilsontown Inn and take part in the trial of a murderer!
The walk will take about 2 hours and is across rough terrain with short but steep gradients. Please be aware that you need to wear suitable walking boots or shoes and be able to cover short sections of difficult terrain.
