Lanimer Celebrations consist of nearly a week long series of events. Lanimer Day itself falls on Thursday 10 June. The days festivities and fun gets under way with the Lanimer Morning Procession at 10.00 am. Route is St. Leonard Street, High Street (North Side), The Cross, Wellgate, Wellgatehead, Hyndford Road, Ladyacre Road, Bannatyne Street, the High Street (North Side). From The Cross horses pass St Nicholas Parish Church to the right hand side, left into Bloomgate, left into Broomgate, left into Hyndford Place then right towards Delves Park. Bands at The Cross go via Wellgate to their respective locations.
