October Week fun in North Lanarkshire Museums

North Lanarkshire Museums have laid on a great programme of activities during the October half-term holidays.
Summerlee Museum in Coatbridge has a daily programme of craft and other activities, as has the heritage centre in Motherwell.
The newly-refurbished Cumbernauld Museum (within the main library in Allander Walk) has craft activities on Tuesday 15 and Wednesday 16 October and Shotts Heritage Centre, within the library in Benhar Road, has Halloween arts and crafts on Tuesday 15th.
Over the weekend of Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th, the the Model Engineering Society of Motherwell will be putting on a display of working models and other displays within the main exhibition hall at Summerlee.
To round off October, on Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th, there will be a 'Scary Saturday' and a 'Scary Sunday' at Summerlee Museum, complete with a Tour of Terror, creepy crafts and scary story-telling..!
Admission to all venues is free with a charge of £1.00 for each craft.
Activities run from 11am to 3pm and booking is not required - just drop in.
