Scotland’s Festival of History

Lanark Medieval

Around 500 specialists from across Europe re-create more than 2000 years of history, from the days of the Celts, Romans, Vikings, William Wallace & Robert the Bruce; 17thC with the Marquis of Montrose; Jacobites and Bonnie Prince Charlie; Napoleonic Wars; US Civil War, Suffragettes, and WW1 and II. More than 40 activities – fun for all ages exploring the ages. A great day out for all the family!

10am-4.30pm daily at Lanark Racecourse, Hyndford Road (A73), Lanark ML11 9SZ.
