The closing date for entries is fast approaching so act now! Deadline has been extended to Wednesday 7 September for the Cumbernauld 10k, children's 3k and 1k taking place this Sunday - 11 September - at Broadwood Stadium.

As well as that main race, there will be a 1k fun run for P5 to P7 children and a 3k race for S1 to S4 pupils. There is a small entry fee for both runs, £3.00 for the 1k and £5.00 for the 3k, and runners will each get a tee shirt and goodie bag. Closing date for all entries is Wednesday 7 September.
And to keep everyone amused, there will be a host of activities for all the family at Broadwood Stadium during the event.
Entry forms for the 10k, 3k and 1k can be picked up from all North Lanarkshire libraries, community centres, sports centres and public buildings or call North Lanarkshire Leisure on 01236 437756.
The event is organised by North Lanarkshire Council in partnership with NHS Lanarkshire, Campsies Centre Cumbernauld Ltd and North Lanarkshire Leisure Ltd, with support from Strathmore Spring Water and the Cumbernauld News and Kilsyth Chronicle.
