Ronan Parke, runner-up of the recent 2011 Britain's Got Talent series, has been confirmed to headline the post-racing concert at Hamilton Park Racecourse's hugely popular Family Night fixture next month.

The 12-year-old singer replaces Joe McElderry as the evening's headline act after the 2009 X-Factor winner was forced to pull out due to commitments to the current Popstar to Operastar TV series.

Ronan will be supported on the night by another new addition to Hamilton Park's Family Night line-up, 2011 BGT finalists New Bounce, as well as previously announced acts Katie Waissel and Paije Richardson who reached the finals of ITV's X Factor in 2010.

It means music fans and race-goers can enjoy four top acts along with quality racing and family fun - including the venue's famous kids' Fancy Dress competition - from a starting ticket price of just £13.

Ashley Moon, Commercial Manager of Hamilton Park Racecourse, said "We're absolutely thrilled to be adding Ronan to our Family Night billing, so soon after his amazing performances on BGT and at a time when he is in huge demand.

"Unfortunately we can't have Joe here due to factors completely out with our control but while we wish him well in the show. We really couldn't have asked for better replacements in Ronan and New Bounce. It's a fantastic result for Hamilton Park.

"I'm sure Ronan and New Bounce will enjoy playing to a bumper crowd at our July family fixture and they'll no doubt be pleased to have some friendly faces in Katie and Paije there to support them on the night.

"Our Family Night remains one of the bargain tickets of the summer with our racing, musical entertainment and family fun all available for as little as £13. We are really looking forward to Ronan, New Bounce, Katie and Paije contributing to another fantastic summer night at Hamilton Park."

Ronan and New Bounce add to a sizzling summer line-up at Hamilton Park this year which also includes an exclusive standalone concert with pop giants Westlife on July 23 and The Wanted on July 22.

Ronan, from Norfolk, wowed the 2011 BGT judges in his audition with his rendition of "Feeling Good". His take of "Make You Feel My Love" saw him triumph in the semi final before he finished second after performing "Because of You" in the final.

Third-placed New Bounce, comprising Mitchell, 16, James, 12, Kuan, 13 and MJ, 12, have been described as the "new JLS" since their performance in the final.

Katie and Paije made the final of the X Factor 2010 and finished seventh and eight respectively in a series which was eventually won by Matt Cardle.

Hamilton Park's Family Night, which includes a full racing card prior to the PA show concert, is one of Hamilton Park's Super Six fixtures. The excitement on the track and onstage is only rivalled by the competitive Fancy Dress competition which is the children's feature on this action-packed Family Night with fantastic family prizes up for grabs. The evening also features an array of free entertainment for children entertainment including bouncy castle, face painters and hair braiders.
