Award winning chip shop in Hamilton
For those of you who live outwith a 50-mile radius of Hamilton and have never heard of Equi's, let's just say it's a multi award- winning cafe/chip shop that makes the best vanilla ice-cream on the planet, plus at least 50 other mouth-watering flavours.
Peter Equi began making ice cream in Hamilton in 1922, using only top quality ingredients like fresh milk and double cream. Today the fourth generation of the Equi family carry on that tradition. They are multiple gold medal award winners for ice cream and sorbets, in particular the UK Ice cream Champions 2006 & 2008 and the Gold Award Winners Royal Highland Show 2009.
