Traditional Scottish food in Strathaven
Strathaven Ales are produced at Craigmill Brewery, situated on the River Avon, to the South of the town. They currently produce four distinctive regular ales. Three seasonal ales and one speciality ale are also produced using the best of locally sourced ingredients.
The building dates from the 17th century and accommodates a ten barrel capacity brew house.
The history of Strathaven is closely associated with the Covenanter movement and the ales have been named to reflect this.
Ales are available in casks, half casks and bottles as well as gift packs featuring a selection of our range combined with a little local history relating to each of the featured brands.
Upon request visitors can be shown round the brewery and explain the brewing process and afterwards sample the products
