The Lilly Loch is a Rainbow and Brown Trout fishery and is located at Hillend near Airdrie. The fishing season last for around 8 months of the year, from March to October. The loch is frequently stocked with Rainbow Trout and occasionally Brown Trout during this period.
Popular fishing spot
The Loch is popular with local anglers and club member who can be found fishing there throughout the season. There are competitions which cater for both fly and bate anglers which are held throughout the season.

Natural Wildlife, Airdrie
The loch isn't just a popular fishing spot, it's scenic views, combined with excellent access and footpaths make the loch and the surrounding area popular with walkers and rambling clubs.
The area is rich in bird and animal life, the area being home to badgers, deer and foxes and also many species of waterfowl.
Due to access restrictions outwith the club’s control, disabled anglers will only be allowed access to the loch as part of an accredited disabled anglers club or group. Prior arrangements must be made.
