Parkland Course, Lanarkshire

Carluke is a slightly hilly parkland course with views over the Clyde Valley in South Lanarkshire.

The course has some very tricky par threes to contend with, a number of which are surrounded by strategically placed bunkers. New greens have been added to a number of holes, adding to what is already a fine course.

The 11th and 12th are two of the best holes you are ever likely to play in the Lanarkshire area and are notorious with local golfers for stopping short a promising score.

The 11th, for example, drops 150 feet to a green surrounded by four bunkers. Accuracy, as you might have guessed, is paramount.
