In addition to being a first class leisure facility, the Dollan Aqua Centre in East Kilbride, Lanarkshire is also reknowned for its striking architecture.
The Grade A listed building dates from 1968 and was the first Olympic sized swimming pool to be built in Scotland. The Dollan baths features a full 50m pool, a separate kid’s pool, water flumes and a state of the art gymnasium.
The main pool features a variable-depth floating floor and a convenient barrier that can be used to split the pool into two 25m pools. As one of two Olympic sized swimming pools in Scotland this centre is must for those seeking an excellent swim.

• Dance Studio with integral sound system and wood sprung floor where a variety of dance and exercise activities can take place

The centre has recently undergone a substantial £6.437m repairs programme which included a £500,000 grant from Sportscotland.
