Along the Clyde Valley Tourist Route from the historic Garrion Bridge down to Kirkfield Bank is the area which has become known as the Garden Valley.

This 9 mile route hosts the biggest cluster of garden centres and nurseries in Scotland. With over 20 individual garden centres, nurseries and orchards, the choice and variety is amazing.

Lanark is also home to the Carmichael Visitor Centre and Castlebank Park, both of which are great opportunities for great family days out.
