Walking

Lanarkshire has an extensive network of local pathways and trails. Several of the Country Parks, The Forth & Clyde Canal & the Clyde Walkway offer miles of reasonably gentle, attractive walks. For those that prefer slightly more strenuous walks, a walk up to the summit of Tinto Hill or Coulter Fell offers a satisfying challenge.
