Guided Walks, Lanarkshire

Always popular are the guided walks by park rangers from Calderglen, Strathclyde, Drumpellier or Palacerigg country parks.

There's lots of 'hands on' activities too - kids will never be bored on one of the special parks' school holiday activities! These events are normally free, but appropriate outdoor footwear and clothing should be worn - summer or winter!

Leisure Centres in Lanarkshire

Leisure centres such as the Hamilton Water Palace, the Aquatec in Motherwell, the Time Capsule in Coatbridge or the Tryst in Cumbernauld all put on a host of wet and dry activities for kids.

Smaller towns such as Airdrie, Kilsyth, Strahaven and Blantyre also have their own great pools for splashy fun !
