VisitScotland Visitor Information Centres are the ideal place to go for advice on what to see and do while you are in the Lanarkshire. As well as providing free advice on great days out in Lanarkshire, Visitor Information Centres also sell maps and guides for the area. 

If you arrive in Lanarkshire without a place to stay, don't forget that centre staff will be delighted to use their comprehensive knowledge of available local accommodation to help you find a bed.

Lanarkshire has 2 VisitScotland Visitor Information Centres located in Lanark and Biggar (the VIC in Abington Welcome Break Services closed in August 2011). Further details on the centres are carried below:
