Biggar's convenient location also means it is driving distance from historic Lanark, home to the award winning New Lanark World Heritage site where visitors can take the ‘Annie McLeod Experience' ride and learn about the legendary Robert Owen.

From the South, M6 and M74
At M74, Junction 13, take A702 (signpost to Edinburgh).Drive through Biggar, take right turn to Broughton (B7016), take first right, first left and Cuil Darach is the 4th house on the left.

From Edinburgh Airport and City Bypass (A720)
Take A702 (sign post to Carlisle and Biggar). At Biggar, take first left (B7016) into Broughton Road, then as above.
From the North and Glasgow (M74)
At M74, Junction 13 (Abington) take A702 as above.
