22nd Lanarkshire Business Excellence Awards

The night kicked off with the extremely talented St Aidan's Jazz Band opening the ceremony for guests. Fred MacAulay compered, with "Only an Excuse" star, Jonathan Watson, then provided some excellent after dinner entertainment. Guests were then treated to a selection of desserts, designed and created by local college students from New College Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire College, helping to make the awards the biggest and most successful of all time.

The crowd then celebrated as the 11 category winners were crowned the full list of winners can be found below  

The John Brinkins Award for Excellence in Tourism went to the well deserving AlonA Hotel. The General Manager, Ian Donnachie, explained:

"Winning this Lanarkshire Business Excellence Award has not only raised employees self esteem but also raised the profile of the Hotel in the local community resulting in an increase in enquiries."
