Lanarkshire Business Week announces its return
The much anticipated Lanarkshire Business Week is set to return to the area on the 27 February 2017. Now in its sixth year, the hugely popular week-long event is expected to be even bigger and better than before.
Through an impressive programme of seminars, conferences, networking events and roadshows, Lanarkshire Business Week provides an excellent framework for businessmen and women to come together to help grow the area’s thriving entrepreneurial community. Of particular interest to those working in the tourism and leisure industries is the Scottish Enterprise Innovation Workshop on Accessible Tourism, taking place on Wednesday 1 March at the Alona Hotel.
Another highlight of the week is the Lanarkshire Business Show being held at the Ravenscraig Sports Facility on Wednesday 1 March. This event is expected to attract over 400 visitors, who will be able to chat with more than 80 exhibitors from across Lanarkshire. In addition to providing great opportunities for networking, attendees can also take part in expert-led seminars being run by social media specialist Graham Innes from Creation Social Media, professional business coach, Fin Wycherley and content marketing guru John Durrant, CEO of marketing consultancy Juggling Swords. The Lanarkshire Business Show is free to attend and exhibitor spaces are still available.
Lanarkshire Business Week will conclude on Friday 3 March with a glamorous awards ceremony being held at the Motherwell Concert Hall. The glitzy event, which will be hosted by BBC personality Kaye Adams, will celebrate recent achievements of Lanarkshire’s vibrant business community. VisitLanarkshire is sponsoring The John Brinkins Excellence in Tourism Award which recognises organisations that have helped make Lanarkshire a must visit destination.
