Lanarkshire Business Week
February 29th 2016 marked of the beginning of Lanarkshire Business Week. Now in its 5th year the week-long event, which is expected to attract 1,500 people will feature workshops, seminars, and networking opportunities for companies looking to expand their enterprise.
Key events include the region's annual business conference: Lanarkshire Looking Forward; EAT Lanarkshire Business Breakfast which sees the launch of the Lanarkshire Food Map; and the Lanarkshire Business Show which attracts 100 exhibitors and over 500 visitors.

The week culminates in a glitzy award ceremony on 4 March at Radstone Hotel, Larkhall. The sold out event, which will be hosted by TV personality Kaye Adams, will see around 400 guests come together to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of the region. Businesses of all sizes will be recognised with categories ranging from Family Business Award, Best New Business and Excellence in Customer Service. The John Brinkins Award for Excellence in Tourism has been sponsored by our partner website BeLanarkshire.

Motherwell Concert Hall
The biggest of Lanarkshire's venues, Motherwell Concert Hall can host more than 1,000 people for a seated concert. For glitzy corporate events such as the Business Excellence Awards, the venue can deliver seating for up to 440 people. The in-house chefs will create a menu to suit any taste buds and staff are available to provide technical support such as staging, sound and lighting.
Hamilton Park Race Course
Those searching for a venue with a difference need look no further than Hamilton Park Race Course, a regular sponsor of the Business Awards. The unique venue allows organisers to choose between one of nineteen function suites with capacity for up to 300 people in the grandstand or in a luxury marquee which can be constructed on the grounds.
