Macdonald Hotels creates new leisure experience for delegates
Delegates heading to popular Lanarkshire venue, Macdonald Crutherland House Hotel & Spa in East Kilbride, will now be able to enjoy new state-of-the art leisure facilities after their meeting or event.
The extensive renovation, completed this month, saw the gym fitted with award-winning IC6 Myride indoor spin bikes, which are complete with large screens for an immersive workout experience. Whether its coaching from world-class instructors or transporting their cycle training to the Italian Alps the hi-tech bikes combines entertainment with an effective workout.
The new equipment will also be supplemented by the Life Fitness’ SYNRGY station which enables members of all abilities to train independently or in a small group using eight unique training spaces, including a dedicated area for suspension training.
After a busy day of meetings, delegates can also enjoy a dip in the 18-meter heated swimming pool, or rejuvenate in the spa, and for event planners especially interested in promoting wellness at corporate events, we’ve created a guide to simple ways to look after your health while getting business done.
The Lanarkshire hotel is just one of many venues across the area to upgrade facilities in the last year. In 2017, Hamilton Park Racecourse unveiled plans to invest £800,000 in the property and corporate venue BioCity underwent a stylist transformation to create a contemporary meeting and social space.
