These boots are made for walkin’…

There are a total of ten walks taking place over the spring bank holiday, kicking off on Friday 22 May through to Tuesday 26May. All of the trails are free, and guided by a team leader who will also give an historical overview of the area.

The CALVP walks will take place across Lanarkshire at numerous locations as part of their spring walks programme. Explorers will have the chance to wander deep into the ancient woodlands of the Cleghorn Glen to the Clyde Valley National Nature Reserve as well as getting a taste of history along the way.

Suitable for all walking abilities, the trips are family friendly and provide the perfect opportunity for children to get out and about in nature. The spectacular scenery of the Falls of Clyde walk is combined with a taste of wildlife, where visitors can take a guided tour to the Falls’ Peregrine Watch Site.
