Catch up with your favourite animals in the zoo, mine are the sleepy Fennec Fox and the busy ants marching over your head on the rope bridge, don't worry they hardly ever fall on your head! Relax by the flowing Calder with its ancient trees and attractive waterfalls.

Summerlee - the museum of scottish industrial life

Its summer so why not Summerlee? As well as the indoor attraction, you can explore the large site with its play area, canal side walkway and recreated miners cottages.

little sparta - a garden of magical surprises

Possibly the most important garden in Britain, one of Lanarkshire's best kept secrets. Created by the artist and poet Ian Hamilton Finlay, discover the artworks among the plants and ponds and dream away the afternoon.
