Cathkin Braes Golf Club
Cathkin Braes is a delightful 18 hole moorland course 6, 208 yards long.
The course was established in 1888, with 9 holes, and was extended in 1905 with design advice from James Braid. The course boasts views of Ben Lomond, Ben Ledi and Ben Venne located to the north, the Clyde Valley to the west and the hills of Arran in the distance.
The course is fairly flat, though there are some tricky tree-lined holes to contend with and also a loch to avoid!
The clubhouse offers relaxed bar or more formal dining and there is also a 20 acre Practice Ground, a chipping green with bunkers and a large putting green.
Golf buggies and pull-trolleys are available for hire and the shop offers all types of golfing equipment and clothing.
