Hamilton Park Racecourse is set in some of the most idyllic grounds in British horseracing.

Since 1926, the award-winning venue have been hosting thrilling race meetings and events. Hamilton Park was the first racecourse in the country to stage an evening meeting in 1947, something that is now commonplace throughout the horse racing industry. 

Hamilton Park's fixture list is designed to offer something for everyone with a range of afternoon and evening meetings, where style, exhilaration and thrills combine both on and off the track to create an experience like no other. Popular race meetings include fun-filled family days, lively music racedays and their famous Ladies’ Night.

Just 15 miles from Glasgow City Centre or 40 miles from Edinburgh, Hamilton Park is easy to reach thanks to excellent access from the M8 and M74 motorways. 

By Car, from the West:  M74 leave at junction 5, at the roundabout take the Hamilton exit and follow brown signs for Hamilton Park Racecourse.

By Car, from the East: M8/A8 leave at Bellshill/East Kilbride exit A725.  Follow signs to M74.  At the roundabout (junction 5 of the M74) take the Hamilton exit and follow brown signs for Hamilton Park Racecourse.

By Train: Direct trains are available from Glasgow Central whilst trains from Edinburgh Waverley service Motherwell with onward connections to Hamilton.

By Bus: The 255 bus service from Glasgow Buchanan Street runs approximately every 10 minutes.  This service also runs from Hamilton Bus Station and drops on Bothwell Road.

By Plane: Hamilton Park is easily accessed from three airports with Glasgow International and Prestwick based in the West and Edinburgh Airport in the East.
