Airdrie Town Hall

Over the last 100 years the Town Hall has been at the heart of community life in Airdrie. Home to Airdrie and Coatbridge's thriving amateur dramatic and operatic scene, as well countless sporting events, dinners and generations of local weddings.

The town hall has also hosted stars like The Proclaimers, the Spencer Davis Group and The Singing Kettle. Also hosting Scotland's premier Gaelic Festival - An Comunn Gàidhealach - The Royal National Mod in 1993.

In 2010 the town hall underwent a £3million, 18 month refurbishment and extension programme to make it fit for the 21st century. The town hall has a popular cafe in the new extension, licenced bars for events and a state of the art digital cinema.

Airdrie Town Hall is centrally located in the town centre, with the train station just 5 minutes walk away.

Rooms Layout

The town hall boasts a main hall with a fully equiped theatrical stage with seating for up to 500 people. The main hall can also cater for 240 people for weddings and dinner dances.

The lesser hall can seat up 144 people for wedding ceremonies and 96 people seated for dinner. The lesser hall has a small stage with fully intergrated lighting and sound systems and in addition has a state of the art digital cinema.

A further four additonal smaller rooms are available for hire as meeting rooms, dressing rooms and breakout spaces.
