After being successfully renovated Rutherglen Town Hall is now a hub of activity, home to an award winning Café, running a variety of performances from dramatic plays to musicals to kids shows, and has the facilities to be hired for meetings and conferences as well as being a beautiful venue for a wedding.

For a perfect wedding venue in Rutherglen, the Town Hall mixes the old and new by combining the Grand Hall and the Mezzanine Bar. The Grand Hall can take up to 150 guests for the wedding meal and 200 guests for the evening reception. Smaller wedding parties can also be accommodated for- there are no minimum numbers.
Rutherglen Town Hall is a short walk from excellent train and bus links into Glasgow and can be reached by car in only five minutes from the M74 and 15 minutes from the M8. The venue is fully accessible to disabled visitors with dedicated parking adjacent to the venue.

State-of-the art audio visual facilities throughout our premises offer flexibility to host a wide range of private and public events.
The Grand Hall can accommodate as many as 400 people for a performance and 150 for functions. It has in-house lighting and sound for live performances. Larger style meetings can be accommodated with the adjacent Mezzanine Area for registration & refreshment breaks.
The Tower Room provides an excellent location for meetings, seminars and private dining:
- 40 people theatre-style
- 30 for a seated meal and
- 25 in a boardroom setting.
The Committee Room offers a more intimate setting for board meetings and smaller events, with a capacity of:
- 10 for boardroom,
- 10 for a seated meal and
- 15 theatre-style.
The Exhibition Hall is a large multi-purpose space which can be used for exhibiting works of art but also capable of hosting functions, meetings and smaller performances.
